Pedra

Reaver Workshop is focused in Print and Play games only, but since Pedra was one of my very first experiences in game creation I decided to preserve its memory here.

We did it in 2020 (me and my brother), the main objective was to create a game which could fit in one single floppy disk, so it could not exceed 1.44MB (do you know what this means nowadays?).

I am a fan of classic point and click adventure games, specially the old Lucas Arts games and Myst and Riven from Cyan Inc., and my brother was a game programmer, so I just asked him to help me make this experimental idea alive and Pedra was born.

It is a very short game, made with very limited resources, there is nothing much special about it, but I still find it pretty fun and I am glad we managed to make a whole game with animations, music and sounds fit in a single floppy disk.

There are only 2 floppy disks in the whole world with this game recorded on it, one for myself and the other for my brother, the programmer.

Important Note: Reaver Workshop is a one man label, so if you like this work, remember it was all made by only one person in each of its phases (specially in this case, it was made by two people), demanding many days of work on drafting, developing, art and design, layout, playtest, translation, publishing...
